There's plenty of blame to go around, but much of it is American media's fault. I never watch TV news, but just got back from a long breakfast where it was unavoidably on the screen. They dedicated about 90 seconds to "Elon Musk's cost-cutting measures," which is a lying way to describe what that fucker is up to. The anchors kept describing their show as "America's most watched news source" but in almost an hour, they mentioned nothing else I'd consider 'news'.

True, most of what I know about the goings on seem to be coming from Left and Center sources mostly, plus maybe I was just being optimistic and the reality's that people over here are eating it all up, too.

But, yeah, best to grab the bullet points, then making busy with something nourishing, because it's "hunker down and brace for it" time...
