No your house is not cursed. No one can explain WHY it happens: Hotplates, Hot water unit, Oven, Dishwasher, or a shower leak.
Bunnings is a danger, but I'll be walking distance to Poynton's which could be worse 😝
in our case it was the goddamn extractor fan for the kitchen and the ducted heating flame sensor.
