If you go to the settings for your profile you can set the preferences for the front page. Mine is now set to subscribed and new and works for the main page for the instance. No settings for the individual communits that I can see though.

Setting to new doesn't seem to sort comments here by new though. I have to manually sort every time I refresh.

Oooh I somehow missed those dropdowns when I went looking. Subscribed/Hot seems to have done the trick. Now I see today's DT above yesterday's which is way better. Thanks!

Is that something you're doing on the web version or in app?... Can i do it in Jerboa?

Pretty sure it's attached to your account, so shouldn't matter where you do it from. But the profile settings in Jerboa is extremely buggy atm. Default sorting is all kinds of messed up for me, so I had to do it from the web.
