What the hell's happened to him? Was RFK Jr not one of the good guys at one point? I feel like I missed something.

You apparently missed his entire life and career.

No.

Seriously, was he not a good guy not that long ago? Either he wasn't and I wasn't paying enough attention to the man, or he was and I've missed something where he changed.

He's known for his work as an anti pollution lawyer, helping poor communities get justice from big corporations. He's also known for believing + spreading vaccine disinformation and various other already debunked conspiracy theories. Probably a good guy to know on a personal level because he cares about people, but still not someone that you want to have in charge of policy making because he's a gullible tool.

He advised Somoa to not take a vaccine... and they had an outbreak (surprise). Things went downhill from there.... he doubled down and took the crazy path.

Thanks. I'm thinking now I just wasn't paying enough attention, and only heard the good stuff.

He's been in the news cycle a lot lately for bonkers ideas. It's genuinely concerning that he is in control of health policy and its almost a certainty that his bonkers ideas will cost many lives. This is the view of thousands of doctors that signed a petition in opposition to his appointment.

I've noticed that, that he's in the news much more. I think that's why I'm just now catching up. He's not someone who really interested me much, so I would listen to just snippets before.
