I think there was picture I seen (or imagery I made up) of a huge pile of "abandoned" bicycles that had been collected after the massacre. It was honestly more chilling then seeing the pictures in the link.

You're right, we should try to get the military police to stick around longer to ensure security and make sure no more armed American backed separatists are left to do another massacre, like tank man.
