As someone that also struggles with spelling as well and letters move around or disappear when I read I always wonder is there a way to correct someone's spelling without coming off as a smug asshole?

A lot of them have open hatches, and are just sitting there. You could conceivably deploy a drone swarm to start extremely destructive fires in the tanks, which would make them MUCH more of a pain in the ass to prep for service again.
That’s a lot of drones that could be utilised more effectively, such as by destroying highly flammable targets like fuel stores, oil refineries, caches of ammunition and such—more bang for the buck, literally and metaphorically—or choke points such as maintenance facilities.
