Me and my friend have finally finished our off and on again project of Halo 2 Legendary. Let me tell you, it was hell. The forced Iron Skull for Co-Op on Legendary made it so painful and we got locked in place so many times. I feel like by that point we should have just gone and done LASO lol. I took this screenshot right before the main boss fight. This was literally such a cathartic moment for me and my friend as Halo 2 has been a project since at least last may.

For the boss fight, It was late, and we both wanted it to be over, so what we did was fly a Banshee into the boss arena and just laid into him with it. It was actually a lot of fun fighting the boss with a banshee, and it was definitely a lot easier then the section before.

Throughout the final level, you have to escort this big ass thing called a Scarab. What me and my friend ended up doing was parking our Banshees on the Scarab and riding thing, using it as cover so we didn't have to fight anything. The thing was bouncing around like crazy, but it stayed.

There was also an earlier level we had to play, and we found this bit of flood growth(?) that kind of looks like a face.

I also noticed that the game puts a lot of trust in the player not to shoot their teammates and be a dick. Like this elevator ride up where you're in prime position to inconvenience any Co-Op partners you have.

After this, me and my friend plan to move onto Halo 3 Legendary and then circle back to reach before moving onto 4. I'm sadly still not done with Halo 2 Legendary though. For whatever reason I didn't get the achievement for completing the level Oracle on legendary, and my compulsion to try and get perfection for the achievements won't let me rest until i do. I think i'll try and open a ticket with Halo MCC support first, because i'm extremely sure i was under all the right conditions for my completion to be considered valid. If not, i guess i'll have to do it again. It's a shame because the boss fight on Oracle was the worst on Legendary. Once im finished with Halo 3 though, i get the privilege of saying i beat Halo on legendary (with Co-Op of course)

It’s very cathartic once you finally beat a level that is that difficult, no matter the game

Man, I was playing Control. My poor laptop was already at its limit rendering the damn game at Medium graphics. But added to that, I was streaming to my buddies.

There's this one level where we are in one of those dreamlike places and I was supposed to jump to climb a slightly out of reach rock. My laptop, bless it's soul, could barely chug along at 10-15 fps. I kept missing the rock and falling down into the abyss. After almost 30mins of this, I legit rage quit and played Papers Please 😭.

Turns out, my laptop's vents were clogged by cat fur (thanks Lisa, my furry baby) and the thermal paste was worse than death valley 💀.

Finished the game a week later. Felt SO GOOD 🤌🏼.

That’s how I was with my first Laptop lol. I had a cheapy Acer Aspire with 6 GB of RAM and a Duo Core i3. It lasted me from 2018-2022, when I replaced it with my Steak Deck. That thing suffered through so many games it reasonably should not have.

It ended up in a similar situation as yours with my pet rat, who while I was letting her roam as I cleaned her cage, dragged her Water Bowl over and dumped it on the thing. It survived, but had to be hooked up with an external keyboard and mouse for the rest of it’s life
