In this case you can criticize, but you choose not to because of social pressure.
This social pressure does not exist for Aotus so criticism is encouraged. A change in venue would dramatically change this. For instance, try posting your distaste for Aotus in a conservative Reddit. Also in that venue they may be accepting of denigrating those with DD.
