Facebook though? In today's climate, Nemi would hate that. Well, secretly she'd be in too deep to delete it, but she'd really want to... which might actually be what's going on with the artist, come to think of it.

Nemi.no redirects to a Facebook page, so unfortunately it's like you say

Yeah and another asshole design example on Facebook:

Why leave a close "X" on the top right part of the modal, but without function. You can click as often as you like, the modal never closes.

Everytime you click it, you rub Mark Zuckerburg's nipples.

I live in a rural area and, while there are a few local restaurants, almost all of the few that have a web presence have it exclusively on Facebook with their menus hidden behind this. Other sites have archived menus, but they're all outdated.

I don't order from most local restaurants.

Yeah :( As @dunz said, I always try to find the original source but apparently Nemi's source is their Facebook. And thanks to fantastic Facebook design it's virtually impossible to find it there

Everything in Norway is very heavily tied to Facebook. It's exhausting. Actually everything is run by large companies generally.

[–] Lost_My_Mind 3 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

I would say Norway sounds awful, but I live in America, and America is awful.

Earth is awful, guys! HOW is this the only choice for planets???

[–] Scott_of_the_Arctic 3 points 2 weeks ago

Earth is a wonderful planet. We are the problem. Lofoten is largely considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, and its full of trash and human feces left by Instagram tourists. We are a broken species.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

I'm pretty sure that humans are the common denominator, not the planet lol

Except the one thing that Americans use it for, the marketplace.

[–] Scott_of_the_Arctic 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

True but Schibsted owns finn.no so its not like you can escape large faceless corporations even then.

[–] Evotech 2 points 2 weeks ago

It's not quite as faceless

Facebook is a curse from hell. Someone oughta convince this artist to move somewhere else.

OMFG one of the few things I can see there is a cartoon where she quotes Prince. This just gets better and better.

At least I can see a link to her bookselling page: https://www.gyldendal.no/skjoennlitteratur/tegneserier/serier/nemi/c-577563/
