The quote has erroneous logic by implying that not being allowed (by society) to criticize a marginalized community or individual because the criticizer is a bigot or an asshole is equivalent to not being allowed (by authoritarians) to criticize unjust people with power.
It may lead some people to confuse social pressure with let's say institutional violence.
