Received this from a friend in Oregon today. She has been refused any kind of passport and is effectively under travel ban. (www.tiktok.com)

This is the reality of the current effect of the Executive orders regarding passports for trans people in the US. Because of the way things are implemented they are getting stuck in a no-mans land where they cannot have any travel papers at all. If you know a place to share this please do.

She had her legal gender changed to female
She tried to get a password
They told her they'd only give it to her if it said male on it
She said that's fine
They walked that back and said she doesn't get any passport
She asked why
They threatened to arrest her

Important note is that she was renewing her passport, and they refused to give her documents back.
