For running advertisements, which is against their charter. I know it’s just more harassment for PBS and NPR, but I’m actually ok with it this one time. Advertising creep has been slowly settling in at both networks. It used to just be a quick “This program is brought to you by” but now it’s full on ads from the major sponsor at the beginning and end of each program, usually pushing a particular product.
We'll, we probably should find them better. Too bad that isn't about to happen...
