A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Finally getting into chess. It's apparently a really old game with a very vibrant community. Such a great hidden gem. 😀
Aside from that, finishing up Hogwarts Legacy and some short Indies.
I’ve always wanted to get into chess. I’ve got a friend who’s really good at it, and when my wife was in high school she was in the chess club and was top in the region
Do it! It's a lot of fun, but it's definitely hard.
Once you know how the pieces move, play some chess puzzles to get better at seeing patterns. I used to be decent (joined a chess club in elementary school), but never really "studied" it in any sense, and my nephew ended up beating me at a family reunion, so I decided to get better. I started watching Gotham Chess on YouTube and learned a ton, but honestly, puzzles and just playing is the best for beginners.
