you can use your binoculars or whatever they are to mark waypoints very precisely that will measure distance on the map. just stand at the zip line tower you're building from and check with that first.
you need line of sight anyway so it usually works pretty well for me.
Ok that is a good tip. I was measuring with points on the map.
yeah, this is one of those games where there's like 5 ways to do everything.
i got so frustrated watching a friend play and seeing him load all of his packages into the back of a truck by hand. he didn't want to be told how to do things so i just left him to it after trying to tell him he can do it through the menu once. then he showed me that you can use the container repair spray on your own back without unloading the boxes first... i never realized...
