Another week in the books. Let's chat about manga in the general discussion thread! Feel free to use this thread for questions, comments, recommendations, etc.

I've been a bit busy recently and orbited towards reading random one-shots here and there. Didn't really find anything worth posting unfortunately so I hope you all have a better time with that.

On the other hand, the second to last chapter of Asura’s Dish of the Day came out over the weekend and I'm kind of mixed on it.

Chapter 9 thoughts

I have two issues with this one really. First is the fact author just had to make Omori into a generic anime girl over their school break. They couldn't be bothered to slim her down enough to make it believable but still keep her with a distinct enough design.
Two, pretty much an extension of the first point, their first kiss had to be after she became said generic anime girl because of course we can't have them sharing such moment otherwise.

I admit I'm mostly nitpicking at this point. The series was canceled and there simply wasn't enough time to tackle those things properly but it's still annoying enough to make me rant, I guess.
