Here's my prediction. Biden doesn't enforce the law looking to get TikTok on the Democrats side framing it as a win for Dems.

Trump blames Biden for everything, claims to have saved TikTok. Millions of idiots everywhere believe him and people continue drooling while staring at infinite mindless entertainment per usual.

Also, why the fuck is NOT enforcing the law allowed? It's the fucking law. You make the laws, either enforce them or change them.

So the Executive Branch famously DOESN'T make laws. That's what the Legislative Branch does.

The Executive Branch enforces laws but they also have discretion to not enforce them. Ever had a cop give you a warning instead of a ticket? That's the same thing. Discretion is used millions of times every day to decide not to enforce various laws. There are also a ton of local laws on the books that are ridiculous and simply ignored by law enforcement.

I understand. When I said he made the law I meant this:

On April 24, 2024, President Joseph Biden signed into law emergency supplemental appropriations (Pub. Law No. 118-50) that, among numerous measures, included the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act. This now enacted law is most widely known for its efforts to ban Chinese-owned TikTok and comes after prior attempts to address any potential national security concerns failed.

Why would he do that and then not enforce it?

That's part of the checks and balances of the three branches. The executive branch can choose not to enforce a law created by the legislative branch. There are lots of stupid laws still on the books that don't get enforced.
