Z59.71 is a medical diagnostic code for "Insufficient health insurance coverage".

It's a diagnosis that should never have existed.

Are there statistics showing how many people died because of Z59.71?

It's a catch-22. To get a Z59.71 diagnosis, you have to see a doctor. But if you don't have insurance, you're probably avoiding the doctor.
