An example would be Spelunky, it simply ran without issues on linux while not so much in case of windows

At other times, steam downloads would be slowed down on windows

Or there were complains of windows excessively forcing updates during one's steam gaming sessions

There were many such complains (& please do take my word with a grain of salt & do your own research as well)
