Conservatives undermine public media everywhere. It's partly just to keep people ignorant, but also to create a media landscape where all large information brokers are owned by a very wealthy few and are thus likely to promote conservative viewpoints.

and then they tell everyone that all the other media is liberal, so they can only trust the right wing media.
