I assume this doesn't include streaming as the scenes they are referencing looked absolutely janky as hell when I watched it on hulu.
Even if they fixed the effects...
There was no need to have that specific model in this film, it was lame nostalgia bait since it wasn't literally the same character. They have already had multiple models across the movies including a new one in Romulus. It didn't add anything since the characters are unaware of the events of the first movie and the whole directive/pupose or whatever they called it was programmed for individual units. It was explained when the brother's character was affected when he got the little laser disc.Putting aliens before humans wasn't a universal thing for the model that Ian played.
But I clapped because I recognised a thing!
