How do people even watch this stuff these days? Do they still make Blu-Ray players?

Blu-Ray and DVD players are readily available at most online electronics retailers.

Playstations 3, 4 and 5 are capable of playing Blu-Rays and DVD's. I guess the same goes with the later Xbox-models, assuming they have an optical drive.

I cannot fathom why one would purchase any console without one.

Also, you can rip Blu-rays using a PC Blu-ray drive (which I acknowledge is increasingly hard to find - my PC doesn't even have a 5.25" bay - I just have SATA cables dangling out for the drive, which I ripped from another machine).

Honestly, it's a nice path to media ownership, although I don't use it a lot.
