Welcome to femcel memes. A place where anybody can post memes that fit the vibe.

Warning: We have a tendency to post things that may at times come from a self-deprecating perspective or things that are funny coming from another queer person. This space will always be a safe place for transfems, non-binary people, people with a feminine gender expression (GNC or otherwise) or anybody else in the LGBT Community to come together and share about our experiences but we truly feel that laughing about the sometimes silly and embarrassing parts the queer experience can help bring us together. We never mean offense or harm in anything posted but rather they are satirical takes coming from queer people.

A note about 'Egging': Our community is mostly made up of transfem individuals, and as such most memes posted will be posted with the intention of having a transfem perspective. However, regardless of gender identity, all feminine presenting individuals are welcome here. Whether that means you're NB, GNC, transmasc, or any other identity, you are welcome here. It is not our intention or goal to invalidate these identities. If something makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to report the post and I will address your concerns on an individual level. For more information regarding the problems with 'Egg-culture', please see Here.

Love Y'all and thank you for following this community

There is no full moon in the day time. The only time the moon is full is when it is basically opposite side of the Earth from the sun.

Because of refraction in the Earth's atmosphere, we can see more than 180 degrees of the ecliptic.

So, a full moon rises just before the sun finishes setting. The moon in this image isn't low enough to be plausibly rising. Maybe we're looking East and in the West the sun is just setting... except then the sky wouldn't be as blue and the shadows would be more pronounced, and the moon is several moon widths above the horizon. Moon's width is 0.5 degrees and the refraction effect at its maximum is about a degree in ideal conditions.

I think you're thinking about it too hard. The moon is lit when it appears in the sky during the day. Plus werewolf magic is already weird.

I don't disagree.

You can see almost full moon during daytime though

Also, in this specific fantasy, she seems to transition to wolf just because the moon is visible and full moon is not necessarily required

TLDR: I liked the comic but my stupid brain felt it necessary to make that pointless comment, but I learned some more.

Definitely not a full moon and a full moon would either be just setting as the sun came up or just rising as the sun came down.

(I used to fly in helicopters and one of my favorite moments, is when we would launch just before sunset, be heading east, and we would have the moonrise in front of us as, just after the sun set. In east county, San Diego, heading to the desert, it looked so huge and magical. Never looked the same when we tried to photograph, but it was always amazing to see.)

I'll buy the "wolf-out for any phase of the moon though".

I like the art style too. The scars/healing wounds were a nice touch. Made me think of a Viking berserker, but with the dark hair and look of a Romani.

I love it when people push back with actual effort. Forces me to double check my own knowledge.

I ended up going down the rabbit hole and discovered that scholars believe the werewolf story originates as far back as The Epic of Gilgamesh, were he "jilted a lover because she turned her previous mate into a wolf."

If it was that exact then wouldn't they only turn into wolves for like a few minutes?
