I tried not to make rules for this community but y'all wylin'. I'll keep it quick and to the point:
-
Mildly biased headlines and articles are fine, but please do not share opinion pieces or strongly slanted articles here.
-
Reporting content that does not break those rules prohibited.
-
Baiting and drama farming is prohibited. If you're not sure whether or not you're in this category, ask yourself if what you're about to post or comment adds to the discussion of the topic at hand, or if you are trying to get a rise out of someone, make bad-faith accusations against one's character, etc. There's some leeway here because I have a sense of humor though, so don't let this rule scare you.
-
Endorsing or supporting extrajudicial, nonexecutive or nonwar violence is prohibited.
-
Using slurs is expressly prohibited.
-
Using the Poisoning The Well fallacy to attack sources shared in a post is presently not allowed (this rule may change in the future, and isolated instances will not subject you to a permanent ban)

Imagine the type of parents that forced that upon a stranger, that kid will be messed up.
If you read the article, the flight was overbooked and the teen was bumped from the flight.
The teen was extremely uncomfortable staying the night in the middle east, she was concerned her clothes (acceptable by Western standards) would put her as a target. She was already getting creeped on at the airport.
The airline said that since there were no unoccupied seats, but there was a seat for the toddler, she could double-up on that seat.
The airline massively fucked up, but IMO the parents did that girl a solid by even agreeing to it at all.
Exactly. When the airline presented that nonsense, they should have just said that they'd hold their own baby to help that young woman out.
