You've got walls around most of the perimeter, requiring very little effort to fully close off. The inside is extremely spacious with enough room for growing foods, and right behind you is a forest with a decent supply of wood.

I think this could house a decent survivor encampment, is there anywhere better?

Hanging Rock would be defensible with a little work. Good visibility of any approach, too.
