If this is the same poll that I saw a few days ago just being reported by another outlet, then the biggest headline should be that 11% put literally 0% of the fault on the shooter. Absolutely none.

That's 1.2 people per jury who even when presented with a shooter would say they bear no responsibility for the death.

Except prosecutors are good at sussing out people with a moral compass and kicking them off the jury.

Any time you have any hope of any kind, remember that just as the health care system has nothing to do with caring, the justice system has nothing to do with justice.
