Jude Law is a good actor. The nostalgia and wonder is infinite. That's all.

Correct. Why the fuck should something being good, be a zero sum game?

The show brings back memories of all those 80's kids adventure movies: Explorers, Time Bandits, Stand By Me, The Never Ending Story....

Exactly.

You can't just watch the best of something and then never watch anything else. The Goonies will forever be excellent, but Explorers has more sci-fi, Time Bandits has more Pythons, Stand By Me is more mature/growing, The Never Ending Story is more fantasy.

They're all good, even if one is best, seeing them all is still worth your time.
