As amusing as this is, unfortunately no.

Cosmic horror needs both cosmic and horror.

Neither of those two stories are written or generally interpreted as horror.

The kangaroos and Wickersham Brothers were trying to boil an entire society in peanut oil. Do you not find that horrific?
