That's the price of their previous model, and the article suggests that this one will be quite a bit more expensive. Definitely not a "projector beater" if you don't have around ten grand burning a hole in your pocket.
Even if I had that kind of cash to part with, it certainly would not be on a TV. It's be doing a major overhaul on my home computer lab.
I bought an Acer projector and a ceiling mounted pull down screen fifteen years ago for ~700€ and that gear is still going strong.
Why in the world would I want to spend ten times that?
