What's the point of twitter screenshots of right wingers larping on fake accounts?
Like, that clearly isn't a real person, and someone had to have a twitter account to take the screenshot.
There's no valid reason for anyone to have a Twitter account, you may think you're "fighting" them, but if they don't have anyone to argue with, they'll argue amongst themselves and fracture. Stop giving them a common enemy to unite against. Let me tear each other to shreds.
I've never thought of it like that.
Would you happen to have an example of this happening? Something on 4 chan or truth social maybe?
I'm assuming you meant infighting between conservatives when it's a conservative only space.
If so when Reddit banned the Donald and they all went to Voat, but Voat was all the people who had been IP banned from reddit, the worst of the worst who had been removed from every sort of real social media.
The trumpets barely lasted a day before going back to reddit.
Around 2016, that's probably enough to Google a source if you meant that instead of just an example from memory.
I've always heard of leftists fracturing. I never even considered the right could be susceptible to the same.
The old "Complaining about other communists is one of the most important parts of being a communist." Comes to mind.
I'll look for more examples of this.
