Spotify Car Thing is, as announced, dead as the company has fully disabled all remaining units, but there are ways to save it.

They should be required to recall them for a full refund, or provide an open source meat to install your own OS.

After protest months ago they did open source it, and there's a thriving community actively building open source apps and ways to connect to it. It's all on git hub.

It's why they're listing over $100 on eBay right now
