It’d be funny if Trump turns on Putin and then Putin exacts revenge. Pure fantasy, I’m sure but, hey, more fucked up things have happened.
For Putin, Trump being unpredictable was a win as he still undermined the USA, when Russia's interests weren't involved. However, in Russian matters, he would want control over his puppet. As Republicans have found, Trump isn't that controllable. It could well backfire for Putin. The fact that Putin seemed to control him first time round, means likely there is some konpromat or debt. Does Trump still care?
