There's a word for people who refuse to accept reality as well.
Unfortunately for you they're called "voters". So do you want democracy or authoritarianism?

Unfortunately for me? In what world am I happy a genocidal strongman just won the election for U.S. president?
Acknowledging reality is important if you want to deal with it. However half the fediverse thinks they hold the majority opinion, despite evidence to the contrary.
Unfortunately snark and smug superiority don't win elections.
