It seems that the MAGA movement is earily similar to what I learned about the Nazis before Hitler took office? Like blind obedience and hatred toward certain groups? Or am I wrong? Why? (self.askhistorians)

The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William Shirer is a must read.

I first read this as "by William Shatner." For a moment, I thought, "I didn't know Mr. Shatner dabbled in academic historical analysis..."
