Winter cycling only seems crazy if you haven't tried it before. With the right gear, it can be enjoyable and very rewarding.

It's a very reasonable decision.
Car drivers kill cyclists. There are few cars inside a gym, and a lot of cars in the streets.
But you still have to wear high visibility clothes.
You know, just in case. Better safe than sorry.
