I'm sorry the world is the way it is but if you want the US to not be Imperialist and hyper capitalist and all these things then what you do is what works and what works in California and the reason it feels so vastly different from the rest of the states and in some ways more like a European country in terms of people's QOL is that they havent had a republican win for ages, soft dems lead to more comfort, which leads to more progressives and shifting of the overton window, and that's the only path forward
