A community dedicated to the universe of Warhammer 40k, a tabletop setting in the far, distant future.

This is a general community for 40k miniatures, art, lore discussion, and gameplay discussion.

Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No political or social cause agenda pushing.

I have been waiting forever to make a grot army. All of their vehicles are so cute and pint sized that they are top of my list for armies I want to build and paint.

Right now though Grots have no leaders and don't benefit from the leaders that the ork faction does have currently(darn you ork keyword!).

That is all.

Do a ‘counts as’ army! I’ve seen one years back using squid hoppers for choppa orks and Mega Armoured models as Grots in big robot suits.

I have also thought about that! I mainly just want to use the grot vehicles and just need a big mek but "grottified".

You absolutely should!

A ‘grot’ Mek in a big clunky armoured suit would look awesome.
