You don't know how to protest in a professional environment. Institutional friction will help reduce a lot of dumb shit getting through.

that's exactly what it is, and they will have the choice, quit (which is the safest), refuse (which is the least safe personally), or just go along with it (which is what the vast majority will end up doing)
Quitting means they'll just be replaced with someone who will go along with it. So personal circumstances aside the best way is sabotage. Some form of following rules "to the letter" that results in delays and ineffective work.
