Why have we not accidentally landed a satellite on Kim's head by now? The rest of the free world would sigh in relief and shrug their shoulders as they go on about their day. Do we have some geopolitical use for him?

The "use" is keeping 26-million ignorant, uneducated and otherwise backward people corralled.

I can't imagine how Kim's regime could be toppled without a tsunami of human misery. It would take 20-years to even begin integrating those folks into the modern world and I have no idea how it could be done gradually.

Add to that, their neighbors have zero desire to work on this.
