Democrats are going to vote for the Democrat on the ticket.

MAGA republicans are going to vote for Trump.

Non-Mega republicans might take Sr. Republicans who are anti-Trump words into account and either abstain (net effect +1 for Harris) or possibly hold their nose and vote for Harris (net effect+2)

Hate all you want, it's sound political strategy. Getting pissy about it has "Maybe I'll just vote 3rd party" vibes.

Don't forget Dem turnout. Good luck.

I don't think any Democrat hates Liz Cheney enough to hand Trump the presidency. Do you?

There are a lot who see the election as a choice between two Republicans and are likely to say meh and not vote for either. Anyway no one likes being lectured or extorted and that's another thing the Dems haven't figured out. Also it's not just Liz Cheney. Dick Cheney has endorsed Harris too. Yuck

The general argument in meme form, in case you need to show it to anyone

And for the record, I think that you're right, Democrats pulling right is a huge problem. Overton windows and whatnot. And their commutation is so bad.

The answer to that is to pressure them through the administration, at at the 59th minute of the 11th hour before fascist takeover.
