On the other hand, I completely understand why a single woman would be terrified by this.
Yes she has all right to be scared but still harsh. How can I get him to my house? I have so many dishes and bottles of wine I don't drink so he's welcome to come over. Can we work on getting him out on work release?
I get it, but just because someone is scared doesn't mean we should lock people up.
Otherwise we will end up like the US.
These things should be proportional to the crime.
