The driver did stop and is not expected to be charged.

This makes me furious, but it's completely expected.

Cars are the only weapon where you can kill someone without consequence, even if it was pure negligence or entirely on purpose.

"I didn't see you" it's always that line no matter how much effort you make to be seen people get so complacent. Ride with cameras on ideally both directions so bored of cars being given this special treatment because well everyone needs to drive. Thank god it was just a cyclist and not a human.

Hope their family and friends can find peace in this injustice.

“I didn’t see you” it’s always that line no matter how much effort you make to be seen

The times when I've almost been hit by turning cars has been when I was visible enough to see from space. I can't do anything more to be seen.

If someone is admitting to be blind, they shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel. Or, they can admit to negligent driving and be fined. They can't have it both ways.

Bit of a poke, where people see the vehicle and not the person. How dismissive reporting and attitudes can be because it was just a cyclist or motorcyclist etc
