How are you supposed to plug into the fake cassette tape that somehow tricks the car to play your phone (or discman) through the tape player?
Although now it's hard to find a car with a CD player ffs.
The ones ive seen for Bluetooth go into the cigarette lighter port.
That's just power. You still need an audio connection.
Other replyer answered, it would broadcast your phones music onto a radio frequency.
I remember those. They were the radio frequency ones?
I think so, I couldn't remember how they actually connected to the radio but that makes sense. It had a switch on it for 3 different stations so yoy could pick an empty one.
Yeah. Those are the ones. You had to choose the frequency, then set your radio to that. I always preferred the fake cassette tapes with the aux cable. less static.
You can get Bluetooth ones now.
you realize there are Bluetooth receivers that do this now, right?
Oh. Of course. I was just being nostalgic. Both my vehicles support Bluetooth, so I just do that.
ohhh gotcha. yeah i have fond memories of that myself, but to be honest, I'm glad they are memories haha
Yeah.... The sound quality was kind of shit. But to highschool me and friends, it was amazing.
