In this particular case, there were huge demonstrations against the rape, but mostly against the corruption of values within the army, and against the fascist politicians who joined and enticed a mob against the army persecuters.

I saw many posts saying the riots were to support the rape of non-Jewish people.

I know. This is mostly what is shown. Some because the sensation some because propaganda. But they represent a tiny fraction of the Israelis.
