Were these the employees GM tasked to build a custom infotainment system to replace CarPlay?

There were also cuts in other software areas. My team propulsion controls for BEVs, and we lost a couple people unexpectedly.

I hate to hear that. Propulsion controls is not a department I’d want to be making cuts in.

Yea but didn't you know, you only need a few nerds, they don't make any money for the company. IT always cost money.
