What are the chances he has enough supporters that would vote for Kamala in enough swing states? If he could ensure a Kamala victory then it would be stupid to not consider it.
It would be stupid to consider a clearly deranged man for a cabinet position, or advertise to the voters your willingness to do such a thing.
Agreed. They'd lose so much political momentum.
