I know some subjects can be highly emotional, but reread the post.
I don't think that is the point of the tweet.
We all have cultural differences when growing up in America. This person is pointing out something specific; there is no need to act like you are a white knight and then try to make this something it is not.
I know people on Lemmy love to do that—smear and censor—so they can dismiss people that do not fall in line with only their way of thinking and seeing the world.

The way I see it is that Kamala Harris is trying to fit in so as to pander to the black voters by lying to them about her experience growing up.
It is fine and okay to have different cultural experiences, but people will be highly critical and question you when you are a politician and change up your way of pandering so as to try to appeal to the working class.
Many in independent media and independent journalists have been critical and question Kamala as a person and especially as a politician since she started coming into the limelight and before for those that know her policies and record in California.
