You could choose not to engage in political debates with internet strangers. Or at least pick your battles and read the room. If several of your comments to a certain post are being strongly downvoted, that probably means that the genral populous of that community is not alligned with your political views or you have made a wrong conclusion or something. It could still mean that they are wrong and you are right, right and wrong a mostly just opinions anyways, but they are the majority, it is their community, so you are wrong.
Nothing I said was political.
People were trying to create something political out of it by making stuff up.
The 'news,' subs are communities that are allowed promote their own narrative here?!?
