Appreciate the sentiment but I'm not sold on the argument that the 60's were just as bad as today. Yes, we have made important progress in areas like social equity.

But, SCOTUS has a strong regressive majority, congress is paralyzed even if democrats have a majority, and Trump... I think that's all I need to say about POTUS and the general state of the right. Oh and since the 60s we also learned that we've fucked ourselves with greenhouse gasses and we're only just starting to feel the consequences. But I guess a 61 year old multimillionaire won't really have to worry about that.
