Volatile acids (like nitric) are pain in the ass to store. It's probably easier just to keep some nitrate salts on hand, and make small batches of nitric acid only when you need it.
Also, don't forget that if you are working with concentrations above ~70%, it's often safer to work barehanded, as nitric acid can quickly ignite common glove materials (like latex and nitrile) at those concentrations.
