Unrelated but Metamucil is actually pretty awesome. I love spicy food but my stomach isn't so good at it, but if I take fiber beforehand I'm usually okay. Although since it's just fiber you can usually just get the store brand to do the same thing.

Yeah I down some psyllium husk capsules every couple of days on general principles. Makes my innards happier.

Fiber supplements in general are pretty sweet and I think it's the elderly's best-kept secret.

Personally I prefer fiber gummies though. Same ingredient but more concentrated. Get the same dose from 5 capsules in two gummies.

So, obviously research this yourself and don't listen to some dumbass on the Internet. As I understand it, there's a difference between soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber is good for your cholesterol and blood sugar. Insoluble fiber is good for digestion. It's very likely that any fiber gummies are gonna be soluble fiber. I take the metamucil capsules for insoluble and fiber gummies for soluble.

This has been my nerd rant.

I take it daily because it keeps my insides on a schedule. Regular, you might say.

Also, Costco has two packs of the huge Metamucil containers pretty cheap
